I can now peacefully leave you Family to be with My King Jesus, who is truly the "Center of My Joy"...\n\nAllen Gregory Simmons, loved as "Petey and PaPa," was a Lifetime Resident of the Southside of Richmond, Virginia, and was a True "Southsidian." He was born July 20, 1956, to his devoted Mom, the late Nancy Simmons Randolph, and Floyd Boone Jr. God, in His Infinite Wisdom, called Allen to his Heavenly Home on November 2, 2022, after a long courageous battle, at the blessed age of 66 Years Young. He was preceded in death by his Mother and Father and his Sister, Valerie Randolph Page.\n\n\n\nAllen graduated from George Wythe High School and hailed as a Proud Bulldog. Allen was an employee of the Commonwealth of Virginia ABC Board where he held several managerial positions for many years before he retired due to his health. He was an avid pool player and earned many accolades for his skills and earned the nickname "Ace." You would find him courtside or on the sideline of his grandchildren's games, especially when his grandson Talik wore the red, white and blue. Allen was a wonderful son, husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend. The wisdom Allen shared with his grandchildren will be passed down for generations.\n\n\n\nIn his later years, he enjoyed watching his favorite sports channels and old-school television shows.
