Alphonso Smith Obituary (1974 - 2015)

Smith, Alphonso A, 36, of Richmond, VA, formerly from Lakewood, NJ, born there June 2, 1978, went to be with the Lord on Monday, May 25, 2015. He was preceded in death by his father, Alphonso Gainey. He is survived by his mother, Rosemary Smith Saint James of Richmond, son, Jacob Leach of Powhatan, VA; stepfather, Wayne Saint James of Richmond, 2 sisters; Aiesha Saint James of Richmond, Danika Dean of Pennsylvania; 2 brothers, Darnell Saint James of Richmond and Lawrence Wilson of New Jersey; grandparents, Henry Gainey of Florida; Castoria Gainey of Lakewood New Jersey and a host of uncles, aunts, cousins and friends. He was a devoted son and former member of Greater Revival Anointed Tabernacle Church of Richmond, VA. We will all miss him dearly. The family will receive friends Thursday June 4, 2015 from 11-12 at Mimms Funeral Home. Graveside services will be held at 12 Noon Thursday June 4 at Maury Cemetery. Bishop Dr. Yolanda O.
