Annie Beatrice Brooks

Annie Beatrice Brooks was born January 19, 1960 in Richmond, Virginia. She was the youngest of eight children born into the union of the late Lawrence and Evelyn Brooks.

At an early age, she accepted Jesus Christ to be her Lord and Savior, after being baptized at Gravel Hill Baptist Church.

Annie Brooks attended Richmond Public Schools, where she graduated from George Wythe High School, "Class of 1978". She went on to continue her education at Key Business College.

Annie was a stay at home grandmother who devoted her life to taking care of her grandkids.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her siblings, brothers Edward, Arthur, and Horace Brooks and sister, Gail Robinson.

She leaves to cherish and carry on her legacy her two beautiful daughters, Tanisha Kane and Diandra Vines. Seven grandchildren; Allahni, Aja, Akindra, Armond, Ashante, Jarrell and Dayonna. Four loving brothers, Alphonso (Carol), Lawrence (Margie), Harold, and Langston Brooks (Allison) and host of nieces, nephews, and other family and friends.

A Walk through viewing will be held Friday, May 7, 2021 from 9:00am-6:00PM. Funeral service Saturday, May 8, 2021 Mimms Chapel at 11:00am. Interment Maury Cemetery.
