Arthur "AJ" Robinson, III Obituary (1985 - 2019)

Arthur "AJ" Robinson, III, 33, of Richmond, VA entered into heavenly rest June 22, 2019 at Chippenham Medical Center in Richmond, VA. He was preceded in death by his beloved mother, Vern N. Robinson; paternal grandfather, Arthur Robinson, Jr.; maternal grandparents, Johnny and Margaret Bryant; paternal step-grandfather, Fredward Sorrells;Step grandparents, Joshua and Alma Galbreath, Sr.; and godsister, Ashley Smith. He leaves to cherish his memory, father, Arthur Robinson, Sr.; stepmother, LaSandra Galbreath-Robinson; long term girlfriend, Ashley Brown; son, August Eli Robinson; stepsons, Isaiah and Caleb Brown; sisters, Katrina Watkins, Kameshia Hobbs and Sharmayne Robinson; godbrother, Tunstall Smith; paternal grandmother, Ester Sorrells; paternal step grandmother, Barbara Robinson; nieces, DeShaundra Hobbs, Deajunea Hodge, ZiAsia Jean-Baptiste and Mikayla Robinson; nephews, Deshaun and DeShaundre Hobbs; and a host of great nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives and friends. AJ was the youngest child of Arthur Robinson, Jr. and the late Vern N. Robinson born in Richmond, VA on August 25, 1985. He attended Chesterfield County Schools, graduating from Meadowbrook High School in 2005. After graduation, he became a CDL driver and was last employed by Philadelphia Truck Lines (PTL). AJ confessed Christ at an early age and was baptized and became a member of Cornerstone Baptist Church in Richmond, VA. AJ will be lovingly remembered for his loving personality, sense of humor, love of dancing and his hard work ethic. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, June 29, 2019 at Cornerstone Baptist Church, 6100 Cornerstone Blvd, Richmond, VA 23234.
