Mr. Beverly Eldridge Clarke

Mr. Beverly Eldridge Clarke of Powhatan, departed this life on August 24, 2015.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Alice R. Clarke; parents, Napoleon Bonaparte Clarke and Luvenia Funn Clarke; five brothers, and one sister.

He is survived by two sons, Bartholomew Clarke (Donna), Eldridge Clarke (Angela); goddaughter, Sylvia Funn; one brother, Arthur W. Clarke (Virginia); devoted niece, Carolyn Funn; four grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren.

Remains now rest at Mimms Funeral Home, 1827 Hull St., where the family will recieve friends from 6 to 7 p.m. Thursday August 27, 2015.

Funeral services are scheduled for 1 p.m. Friday, August 28, at the Pleasant Grove Baptist Church, 3090 Judes Ferry Rd., Powhatan, Va.
