Beverly Johnson

Beverley Ann Johnson, was born September 18. 1960 in Richmond, Virginia. She was preceeded in death by her son Nathan Johnson; Parents, Philip Mckinley Johnson Sr. and Ruth Alice (Cosby)Johnson; and her Brother Philip Mckinley Johnson II.

She was a very special person with a really big heart. She was the light to every bright day, but could weather any storm. She graduted from Richmond Public Schools with Honors; where as she went on to become a grade school teacher. Thru out the rest of her life she remained a strong woman, a single mother, hard worker, best friend, and more. You could never see her pain only the laughter and smiles. She had a long battle with cancer and is now at peace.

Beverly leaves to cherish her memories two daughters,Keisha Johnson and Katrina Johnson; one son, Harrison Johnson; Six grandchildern, MiKayla Johnson-Thornton,Amoni Dowd,MyAsia Johnson ,KayVion Johnson, KaMari Pryor,and Kyrie Johnson; Five sisters, Ruth L. Johnson, Phyllis E. Smith,Janice D, Robinson, Naomi R. Taylor, and Elenora E. Johnson; 13 nieces and nephews, and other realitives.

Funeral service will be Saturday, October 8, 2016 Mimms Funeral Chapel at 11:00 AM Interment Private.
