Bishop Lindbergh W Cox, Sr., 89, of Powhatan, VA went home to be with the Lord on April 21, 2017. He was Pastor Emeritus of Refuge Assembly Worship Center, Powhatan, VA. He is survived by three daughters, Marian Cox, Betty Mabry, and Margaret Wright; two sons, Rafiq Muwakil (Teresita) and Charles Cox (Judy); one brother, Richard Cox (Glena); 15 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandchildren, a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Remains rest at Mimms Funeral Home, 1827 Hull St, Richmond, VA 23224 where the family will receive friends and family on Thursday, April 27, 2017 from 6:30-7:30 p.m. Funeral services will be held on Friday, April 28, 2017 at 12:00 Noon at Refuge Assembly Worship Center, 2800 Huguenot Trail, Powhatan, VA 23139.
