Calvin C. Carter

Calvin Christopher Carter, 42, of Richmond, departed this life on April 30, 2026, in Richmond, Virginia. He was born on August 22, 1983, in Richmond, Virginia, to Gloria A. Carter and Calvin C. Carter.

Calvin was a lifelong resident of Richmond and was known for his smooth personality, funny nature, dapper spirit, and bright smile that could light up any room. He was loved by many and will always be remembered for the joy and laughter he brought to those around him.

He earned his GED and worked as a Production Technician. More than anything, Calvin loved spending time with his children and family. His presence, kindness, and sense of humor made a lasting impact on everyone who knew him.

Calvin leaves to cherish his memory his three sons, Kush Sailes, Christopher Carter, and Malachi Carter; his goddaughter, Amari Boyd; his loving mother, Gloria A. Carter; his father, Calvin C. Carter; his paternal grandmother, Gloria Carter; one sister LaKeysha R Pollock; two brothers Fabian Minnicks Sr (Aaliyha), Patrick O Carter; and a host of aunts, nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives, and friends who will continue to carry his memory in their hearts.

Calvin’s legacy will live on through the love he shared, the smiles he gave, and the memories created with family and friends. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
