Charlie V. Williamson

Charlie Vest Williamson Sr. peacefully passed away on June 25, 2025 at the VA Mcguire Journey's Way Hospital.

He leaves behind his children: Angela Fleming (Anthony), Bryon Williamson, Charlie Williamson Jr., and Shante Ladson (Fred), as well as two bonus daughters, Dayona Little and Shameka Goode.

He is also survived by his beloved siblings: Ethyleen Taylor, Sharon “Hassey” Williamson, and Willie “Sport” Daniel. He was preceded in death by his dear sister, Myrtle Lutz.

His memory will forever be held close by a host of cousins, including his favorite cousin Jackie, his beloved aunts Rose Eskridge, Minnie Wilkins, and Dorothy Williamson, as well as his grandchildren including his beloved granddaughter Ashlee Fleming, his uncles, his nieces, his nephews, and his lifelong friends.

Charlie also shared a lasting friendship with his ex-wife and friend, Crystal Little, whose support remained meaningful throughout the years.

He will be remembered for his strong spirit, humor, and his love for God.

His presence will be deeply missed but never forgotten.
