Mr. Chastine Brown

of N. Chesterfield, departed this life January 10, 2017. He was preceded by death by his devoted friend, James Clay. He leaves to cherish his memory his wife, Theresa C. Brown; four children, William, Tyrone, Shanticia and Kendall Brown; 16 grandchildren; parents, Mattie and Chastine Brown; siblings, Ella Jefferson (Harry), Betty Thorpe (Phillip), Frances Webster (Larry), Darlean Lee (Don), Lynn Jones, and Horace Brown; sisters-in-law, Lillian Hicks (Henry) and Ann Matthews (Tony); five aunts, Luvenia Shaw, Dorothy Brown, Grace Thomas, Pearlean Washington and Cleo Smith; uncle, Rudolph Brown; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Family will receive friends Monday, January 16, 2017 at Mimms Chapel.Funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. on Tuesday, January 17, 2017, at First Baptist Church (Centralia), 2920 Kingsdale Rd.
