Cornelius Winfree Sr. Obituary (1924 - 2015)

Cornelius Winfree Sr., departed this life April 23, 2015. He leaves to cherish his memory his loving and devoted wife, Dorthea H. Winfree, three sons, Robert, Cornelius Jr., and Michael Winfree. Three daughters, Janet W. Mason, Patricia R. Foster, and Michelle Winfree-Williams. One sister-in-law, Sarah H. Fenner, One brother-in-law, Kermit Hobson, one daughter-in-law, Gloria B. Winfree. Twelve grandchildren, Seventeen great grandchildren, and eight great-great grandchildren, and a host of other relatives and friends. Remains rest at Mimms Funeral Home, 1827 Hull St. The family will receive friends Tuesday April 28, 2015 from 6-7pm at Mimms Funeral Home Funeral services are scheduled for Wednesday, April 29, 2015 at 10a.m. at First Baptist Church South Richmond, 1501 Decatur Street with Rev. Jones officiating. His remains will lie in state 1 hour prior to service scheduled time. Interment Maury Cemetery
