Curtis McCann Jr., was the eldest of three children to the late Curtis McCann Sr. and Ruth McCann. Born in Harlem, New York City on February 11, 1942. Curtis graduated from George Washington in 1959. He loved his career which also became his prized hobby.

Curtis was a loving and devoted father, brother, uncle and friend. He loved New York sports teams and was a devoted New York Jets, New York Mets, and New York Knicks fan; win, lose or draw. He was always willing to help family, friends and was known as the "neighborhood dad" to many of the children. Always conscious of his humble beginning in Harlem, Curtis enjoyed purchasing ice cream and candy for the local kids.

He is survived by his sister Shirley McCann of Richmond, Va., son Etaun McCann , nephews Mondo McCann of Lynchburg Va. & Craig Williams of Richmond, Va., great nieces Capri Williams, Adonijah McCann, Asia McCann & Lilli McCann, great nephews Nyki McCann, Michah McCann, Calen McCann, Jordon McCann and his special sister in-law Daria McCann; and a host of other relatives, family and friends.
