Mr. Daniel Henry Woolridge, Sr., departed his life on May 15, 2022 at his home in North Chesterfield, VA.\nMr. Woolridge was born in Baltimore, MD, on May 29, 1937, to the late Mr. Walter Woolridge and Mrs. Martha Taylor Woolridge of Bon Air.\nHe was baptized at a young age at the United Baptist Church in Bon Air, VA. Mr. Woolridge worked for Richmond City Public Schools for 28 years where he later retired.\n\nMr. Woolridge was married for 64 years to Mrs. Alice McGhee Wooldridge of Algoma, WV. To this union, two children were born, Daniel H. Woolridge, Jr., and Cassius Johnson-Robinson, both of Richmond, VA. Mr. Woolridge is survived by: one sister, Mrs. Louise Coleman of North Chesterfield, VA; three sisters-in-law, Mrs. Mary Nolley and Mrs. Barbara Grant, both of Mechanicsville, VA, and Mrs. Mary McGhee of Aubon, VA; one niece, Deardre Coleman; family friend, Mr. Tommie Johnson; three brothers-in-law, Mr. John Nolley, Mr. Frank J. McGhee and Mark Grant, all deceased; thirteen nephews, Terry Irving, Carlton McGhee, Deshaun Nolley, Donovan Nolley, Lonnie Coleman, Donald Coleman, Joseph Coleman, Darryl Johnson, Willie F. McGhee, Frank L. McGhee, Kyle McGhee, deceased, James Coleman, deceased, and Deaullandy G. Coleman,\ndeceased; two grandchildren, Darrell J. Taylor and Danelle N. Johnson; four greatgrandchildren, Xavier Taylor, Anyiah Taylor, Jaxon Myrick, and Kori Myrick.\n\nMr. Woolridge would have celebrated his 85th birthday on May 29, 2022\n\nFuneral service will be held on Saturday, May 21, 2022 at 2:30 PM at Mimms Funeral Home, 1827 Hull St. Interment Maury Cemetery.
