Richmond, Virginia
Danielle “Danny” Elizabeth Callahan departed this life suddenly on November 11, 2025. She was born on March 13, 1984, in Richmond, Virginia, to Bernard L. Dunn and the late Marian E. Callahan.
Danielle was raised in the East End and Southside areas of Richmond. She exhibited a zeal for life from an early age, being outgoing and adventurous. She was always a fun-loving person. She easily formed many friendships that lasted throughout her life.
She was and will always be remembered for the loving gatherings at her homes. Her house was always the go-to spot for her many relatives and friends. She was known to kidnap people and host them for weekends or longer. She hosted many dinners (her goulash being a much-favored dish), cookouts, and holiday events, with her favorite being Christmas. She will be remembered for the love she showed with her generous and thoughtful gifts during that holiday. Her door was always open to those who needed a place to stay or rest.
While Danielle did not belong to a specific church, throughout her life she called on God with prayers and rejoiced in his love.
Danielle's devotion and love for her family will never be forgotten. She was determined to provide the best that she could for her family, especially her two grandchildren. She was also a loving caretaker to her father during her last moments. Her loving spirit will never be forgotten.
She leaves her most cherished memories, her four sons: Isaiah, Elijah, and Omarion Johnson, Kevin Ferrell-Johnson, three daughters: Dartagnan Callaham, Tonecia and Destiny Johnson, one granddaughter: Jaliyah White and one grandson: Jayceon White, her father: Mr. Bernard L.
