Darryl Timothy Hines

Today, we gather in loving memory of Darryl Timothy Hines, born on August 10, 1987, in Richmond, Virginia, to Cassandra Hines and Darryl Randell. Raised in a home filled with warmth and care by his beloved grandmother, Bertha Hines, Darryl's life was a testament to curiosity, determination, and a spirit that touched everyone he met.

From a young age, Darryl was eager to learn and explore, leaving footprints across the world - from Paris to Jamaica, and Texas. His travels were not just journeys of discovery, but opportunities to inspire and uplift those around him. the impression he made on so many lives will never be forgotten.

Darryl's dedication to excellence shone through in every aspect of his life. He was involved in numerous academic and athletic programs, including Majorette, Richmond Boys Choir, the band, The Wiz play, SECME, Learning Bridge, as a model, and so much more. his commitment to being extraordinary made him a respected figure among family, friends, and peers.

As we remember Darry, we honor the loving family he leaves behind; his son Sir Sunny (pet child), his mother Cassandra Hines, father Darryl Randell, siblings; Lakim Hines (sister), Dyshawn Hines (brother), Normisha Onyango-Hines (sister), Simawn Montgomery (brother), Rashaun Onyango (brother), Shaquita Buie (sister) and Kadeem Worsley (brother), twelve nieces and nephews, uncles, aunts, and cousins.

Though Darryl's journey on earth has come to an end, his spirit lives on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him. May we find comfort in the memories we shared and the legacy he leaves behind.
