August 30th, 1952 - June 18th, 2023

It is with great sorrow that we announce the passing of Daryl H. "Fatman" Taylor of Richmond, VA. Born to the late Shirley W. Taylor and Beverly H. Taylor. Daryl was a cross country tractor trailer driver for years before becoming disabled. He had a love for Fishing and Motorcycle riding, but he loved his kids even more. He was a member of Gravel Hill Baptist Church in Richmond, VA. He transitioned at 70 years of age on June 18th, 2023. Daryl passed surrounded by family after a long battle with many health issues. A memorial service will be held on Saturday June 24th, 2023 at 2pm at Mimms Funeral Home; 1827 Hull St, Richmond, VA 23224. He is preceded in death by his Mother Shirley W. Taylor and Father Beverly H. Taylor. He is survived by his three children; Brittany (Miss B), Daryl (Fats) and Marissa (Scoot), a devoted partner of 30+ years Cynthia (Cindy), two brothers Beverly (Skinny) and Clyde (Shelley), one sister Jocelyn (Wooga), 3 aunts Doris, Dorothy and Claudette, one uncle Bernard. 2 devoted friends; Kenyan and Mr. Robert (fishing partner); and a host of other relatives and friends.The family would like to thank Amedisys Home Health Care & Aleena/Nicole and Tracy for assisting our loved one.
