David T. Anderson, Jr.

David T. Anderson, Jr., retired UPS parcelman, departed this life August 31, 2016. He was preceded in death by his parents, David and Rosa Anderson Sr. He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Gerlean R. "Rennie" Anderson; one son, David T. Anderson III (Sharon); one daughter, Cassaundra D. Anderson-James (Tyrone); four grandchildren, Draeland Randolph James, Lundon Mitchell Anderson, Keko Fulp and Edward (Bobby) Fulp; three sisters, Virginia C. Smith, Dorothy A. Epps and Yvonne A. Mimms-Evans (Reginald); two sisters-in-law, Viola C. Parsons-Studivant (Robert) and Grace Randolph; three brothers-in-law, August Moon (Michon), Raymond Randolph and Adam Melvin Randolph; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Remains rest at Mimms Funeral Home, 1827 Hull St., where the family will receive friends on Thursday, September 8, 2016, at 11 a.m. Graveside services will be held immediately following the viewing at 12:30 p.m. at Maury Cemetery, 2700 Maury St. Reverend Glenn Mason, officiating.
