Mr. David Lee Whitehead Obituary (1932 - 2015)

Mr. David Lee Whitehead 82, of Richmond, died March 7, 2015. He was preceded in death by his oldest daughter, Rose W. Demery. He is survived by his devoted wife of 56 years, Ruth Y. Whitehead; two sons, Kent A. Whitehead Sr. and Milton L. Whitehead; one daughter, Nadine Z. Robinson (Edwayne); three grandsons, Capt. David L. Robinson, U.S. Army (Jewelle), William C. Robinson and Kent A. Whitehead Jr.; one great-grandson, Ethan W. Robinson; one sister, Juanita W. Smith; two sisters-in-law, Loretta Alexander and Alma Malone; goddaughter, Robyn S. Smith; a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends; devoted family friends, Mary and Yvonne Jackson. Remains rest at Mimms Funeral Home, 1827 Hull St. Funeral services will be held Saturday, March 14, at 11 a.m. at Broomfield Christian Methodist Episcopal Church, 609 Jefferson Davis Hwy. Rev. Kathleen Brooks officiating. Interment at Maury Cemetery.
