Walter Thomas Scott, Jr. departed this life Thursday, May 25, 2017 at his home in Chesterfield, VA. He leaves to treasure his memory his devoted wife, Mable Taylor Scott; two daughters, Tracey Person (Gilbert) and Tanja Scott; one brother, John Albert Scott; five grandchildren, Deona Cook, Eboni Scott, Jarmarr Meredith, Shantelle Walker, and Michael Scott; five great grandchildren, Dajanik Cook, J'Lynn Cook, Izay'a Roane, Markayla Taylor, and Jamauris Tony; five devoted friends, Charlie Alexander, Roger Brown, Calvin Corbin, Tom Jones, and Charles Middleton; and a host of other friends and relatives. Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, May 31, 2017 at 11 AM at the Gravel Hill Baptist Church 2600 Gravel Hill Road Richmond, VA. Rev. Louis G. Jones, Pastor officiating. Interment will be at the church cemetery.
