Mrs. Deborah McSwain Jones Obituary (1952 - 2015)

Deborah McSwain Jones, of North Chesterfield, departed this life on December 12, 2015. She was preceded in death by her father, Norman McSwain. She is survived by her loving and devoted husband of 37 years, Robert Jones II.; one son, Marcus McSwain Jones; one daughter, Robin Michelle Jones-Mayes (Lawrence); her mother, Mattie Mae Florence Bizzell McSwain; three brothers, Norwood McCoy (Ellanor), Rev. Dr. John L. McCoy (Theresa), Hoyal McSwain (Jackie); and two grandchildren, Robert Brown and Marcus Jones, II; along with a host of other family and devoted colleagues with the Virginia Education Association. Remains rest at Mimms Funeral Home, 1827 Hull St., where the family will receive friends from 5 p.m.- 7 p.m. Friday December 18, 2015, and where funeral services are scheduled for 1 p.m. Saturday, December 19, 2015. Pastor Kevin Cooke officiating. Interment Maury Cemetery.
