Derek Jerell Henderson

Derek Jerrell Henderson, of Richmond, departed this life on January 2nd, 2016.

He is survived by his two daughters, Ja'Nya and Skylar Henderson; his parents Robert Edward and Alice Payne Henderson; three brothers, Robert Edward Henderson, II., Marcus D. Henderson and Alex Brian Henderson; two sisters, Alexia and Jayla Henderson; one niece, Kennedy Henderson; one nephew, Marcus J. Henderson; his grandmothers, Maggie Payne Edwards and Cora Lee Henderson; a very special friend, Shamika Stewart; along with other family and devoted friends.

Remains rest at the Mimms Funeral Home, 1827 Hull St.

A Celebration of Life Service is scheduled for 3:00 p.m. Saturday, January 9, 2016 at the St. Paul Baptist Church, 700 E. Belt Blvd.

Friends and family please gather at the church at 2:15 p.m.
