Dorothy Lively

On Friday, February 19, 2016 in Beaufont Rehabilitation Center, joy came in the morning, when Mrs. Dorothy Carter Lively was received into the arms of her Savior Jesus Christ. She was born February 24, 1922 and lived most of her life in Richmond Virginia. She was married to her loving husband, Carroll Eugene Lively for over 67 years.

She will be greatly missed by her brother in-law Robert B. Lively (Evelyn) three nephews, Randy Wilson, Robert K Lively and Marvin E. Lively, one niece Belinda Strickland (Andrew), two grandsons Patrick Carr Sr. (Penny) and Garrett Carr, one great-grandson Patrick Carr Jr. and a host of relatives and friends.

The Family will receive friends on Wednesday, February 24th at 6:00 pm until 7:00 pm at Mimms Funeral Home, 1827 Hull Street. The Homegoing Service will be held at Second Baptist Church 3300 Broad Rock Blvd. on Thursday, February 25th at 1:00 pm. Rev. Ralph Hodge, pastor, officiating. Interment Maury Cemetery.
