Edna M. Holmes

HOLMES, Mrs. Edna M., of Richmond, departed this life, July 6, 2010. She is survived by three daughters, Carolyn Venable, Priscilla Green and Cheryl Peoples; four sons, William Henry Green, Willie Green, William F. Muhammad and Raquan Peoples, 17 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren, nine great-great-grandchildren; two sisters, Margaret Taylor and Beatrice Woods; one uncle, several cousins, other relatives and friends, among them a devoted friend, William Peoples Sr. Remains rest at the Mimms Funeral Home, 19th and Hull Streets, where the family will receive friends Friday (today), 6 to 7 p.m. and where services will be held Saturday, July 10, 2 p.m. Interment private.
