Ella Rose McQueen

MCQUEEN, Ella Rose, was born in Kenly, North Carolina on January 22,1940. She passed away peacefully on August 30, 2023. She was preceded in death by her mother Lorenza Futrell and siblings, John Hagans, Willie Mozzell, Harriet Price, and Jessie "J.C" Futrell. She is survived by her husband, Tyrone McQueen ,son Gary J. McQueen (Jeannette), daughter Michelle McQueen-Williams; grandchildren, Kelly and Erica McQueen and Byron Williams; a devoted cousin and sister-in-law Louise McQueen; her dearest friend Lucy Thompson and a host of other relatives and friends. Remains rest at Mimms Funeral Home, 1827 Hull Street.

A celebration of life will be held on September 5, 2023 12 p.m. at the Second Baptist Church 3800 Broad Rock Blvd. Interment Maury Cemetery. Pastor Ralph Hodge Officiating.
