Richmond, Virginia
We gather today to celebrate the life of Ellis Lorenzo Miles, (Lil Boo, Boo Boo, E for Ellis) born July 5, 1969 in Richmond, Virginia to the late Ellis L. White (Gwen) and Rose M. Miles. He passed away on May 31, 2024 at his home in Dinwiddie County, Virginia after a sudden decline in his health. Boo Boo was educated in the Richmond Public Schools System.
Boo Boo leaves to cherish his memories his wife, Jennifer and step daughter Ageline M. Wells; his mother Rose Miles; two sisters Katina O. Miles and Shannon White; four brothers Tyrell A. Miles, Ellis L. White, III, Brandon E. White and Justin A. White.; five aunts Barbara Wade, Brenda Smith, Johnetta Seward, Belinda White and Thomasine Smith; three uncles Lawrence Smith, Robert Lee Harris and Wayne Harris; two sister in laws Debbie Dennis and Becky Underwood (Glenn); close friends Benjamin Horrell and Phillip Williams not to exclude his Pit Bulls Beast and Seven and a host of cousins, other relatives and friends.
In his younger years, Boo Boo worked at Billy’s Seafood which was his grandfather’s business. He enjoyed making people smile and always joking around. He was such an avid storyteller that one had to determine if it was true or false. Boo Boo enjoyed riding his dirt bike. He was a barber by trade. To merely say that Boo Boo cared deeply for the earth would be an understatement, as he proved this day in and day out through countless hours manicuring lawns. Before his untimely illness, he took care of his brother Ty who also suddenly took ill by checking on him daily and taking him out on little road trips. Even at the end he checked in on family to make sure they were ok without complaining.
Boo Boo will be remembered for his caring love for those that surrounded him and his fervor for life. His loss is completely unexpected and his family is profoundly saddened.
