Elvira D. Mashore

Elvira D. Mashore, of Richmond, departed this life on February 2, 2016.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Marion Moshoe (Mashore) and Susan Butler Moshoe (Mashore); sister, Thelma Mashore; along with one nephew, Marlon C. Moody.

She is survived by three devoted sisters, Ivory B. Mashore, Rev. Joyce A. Mashore-Moody and Sarah E. Bailey; a devoted niece, Tammy E. Brown; and three devoted nephews, Jeffrey (Toney) Mashore, Todd R. Moody and Reeve A. Bailey; along with a host of other family and special friends, among them her friends at the U.S. Postal Service, where she worked faithfully and retired successfully after more than 30 years of service.

Remains rest at the Mimms Funeral Home, 1827 Hull St., Richmond, Va. 23224.

Funeral services are scheduled for 12 noon Wednesday, February 10, 2016, at the First Independent Methodist Church, 3050 Midlothian Tpk., Richmond, Va., 23224.
