Etta Louise Hardy

Our beloved mother of 92 years of age of Chesterfield, VA peacefully transitioned on August 19, 2021. She was preceded in death by her devoted husband, Robert Lee Hardy; son, Reginald G. Hardy and loving cousin, Claudia Bell. Our mother was an only child. She attended Hickory Hill School in Chesterfield, VA. She attended Broad Rock Baptist Church until health prevented her from attending. Our mother is survived by twin daughters, Joyce and Janice Anderson, Robinette L. Jerman (Jerry); Rosilyn G. Jones (Michael); Catherine Clay and sons, Robert L. Hardy, Jr. (Bridget); Willie N. Hardy (Darlene) and Curtis W. Hardy (Freda); and a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren; other relatives and friends. Despite her age of 92, she still had an upbeat for life. She loved her dog "Precious" and loved her music and dancing. She is now in Heaven making plans for gatherings and cook outs for family and friends. She will be deeply missed by all those that knew her. Gone but never forgotten. Remains rest at Mimms Funeral Home, 1827 Hull St., where family will receive friends on Tuesday, August 24 from 5-7 PM and where funeral service will be held on Wednesday, August 25, 2021 at 10:30 AM. Interment Maury Cemetery.
