Ezzie Booker, Sr.

BOOKER, Ezzie James Sr., of Richmond, Va., departed this life on February 13, 2021, at Johnson-Willis Hospital at 11:56 p.m. He was preceded in death by his wife, Linda Direce Booker; his mother and father, William and Sarah Booker; his daughter, Tameka Claiborne. He leaves to cherish his memory, three sons, Ezzie Booker Jr., Terrence Booker (Lawanda Booker) and Mario Booker; three daughters, Tracey Sheperson, Michelle Lee, Jynes Mayo Martin (Fred Martin); 15 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren; siblings, Howard Booker (Joanne), Marian Booker-Woolens (Rakale), Edna Thomas and Aleshia Louis-Charles (Garnell); as well as a host of relatives and friends. Remains lay at rest at Mimms Funeral Home, 1827 Hull St., where funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, February 20, 2021.

Graveside service will be held on Tuesday, February 23, 2021 at 2:00 PM at Maury Cemetery, 2700 Maury St.
