Fannie Barbara Brown

Fannie Barbara Ann Brown, 81, departed this life peacefully on Wednesday, April 27, 2016 at her home, Charnwood Forest Apartments, in Richmond, Virginia. Barbara was born on January 5, 1935 in Chesterfield, Virginia to Edmonia Bunson and Howard Bunson. She was preceded in death by her parents and her loving husband, Curtis Brown; brothers, Vassel Bunson, Willie Bunson; sisters, Bernice Sutton, Evelyn Keye, Augustine Bunson, Beatrice Bunson, and Ethel Patom. She is survived by her daughter, Retha Roberts; one devoted brother, Thomas E. Bunson, Sr. (Marybell); one granddaughter, Venita Wilson (Brett); and a host of nieces and nephews. She was retired from Miller's Manufacture, Inc.

A celebration of life will be held on Wednesday, May 4, 2016, beginning at 11:00 a.m.at Mt. Sinai Baptist Church, 812 N. 25th Street, Richmond, Virginia. Interment will follow at Maury Street Cemetery.
