I can now peacefully leave you Family to be with My King JESUS and "Walk Around Heaven All Day"...Floyd H. Boone, Jr., a Lifetime Resident of the Southside of Richmond, Virginia was birthed on November 19, 1931 to the late Floyd H. Boone, Sr. and Willie Ruth White Boone. GOD in His Infinite Wisdom called Floyd to his Heavenly Home of Eternity to dwell "with his people" as he lovingly said and yearned for, on May 18, 2022, at the Blessed age of "90 Years Young".
He was preceded in Heavenly Transition by his Father and Mother, Floyd H. Boone, Sr. and Willie Ruth White Boone, as well as by all of his Sisters, Gladys Boone, Ethel Mae Tate, Berline Smith, Margie Lee, Celestine Brooks and Dea. Arlene White-Minnis. Floyd was a PROUD Honorably Discharged Veteran who served in the Korean War and was awarded the 3 Starred Bronze Medal of Honor. He worked in various capacities
throughout his life dating back to being employed by the old Standard Drugstore on Hull Street. At the time of his departure from this earthly life, Floyd was the Patriarch of 5 Generations. He really enjoyed being with his Family back in the day at the infamous cookouts in the bottom on Porter Street. In his later years he enjoyed the solitude of just being at home watching his favorite sports channels, eating at Sisters Cafe, meeting up
with the guys at McDonald's or sharing a meal at Send-A-Chef with Family or Mr. Carlton Brooks, whom he often referred to as his only surviving friend/family around his age sharing the distinction of being "BLESSED with 90 Plus Years of Life"...
