Gilbert L. Carter

Gilbert Lino Carter of Richmond, departed this life Thursday, October 8, 2015. He is preceded in death by his parents, Herman and Marion Carter, Sr. and brother, Herman Carter, Jr. and Ersalyn Mimms Carter.

He is survived by his wife, Joyce J. Carter; son, Gilbert Carter, Jr.; daughters, Jana Carter Clark (Vinnie) and Ridgely Carter; sister, Jean Carter Alexander (James); five grandchildren, Cecily Clark, Reed Bolar, Joshua Mahan, Vincent Clark and Brooklyn Minter; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Funeral service will be held at 10:00AM on Wednesday, October 14, 2015 at Fifth Baptist, 1415 W. Cary St. Rev. Earl Brown, Pastor. Interment Riverview Cemetery.
