His passion was playing cards, driving to Charlottesville, VA to get cases of apples for everyone (at least 31 cases) to give out to bowlers and friends. His most loved hobby was bowling. He served as President of the Richmond Senate TNBA (The National Bowling Association) and was inducted into the Hall of Fame of TNBA 2010. Later he served as President of the Odds and Ends Bowling League for several years. He continued to bowl and attend bowling tournaments with his messenger bowling club.
Henry also founded the Womack Double Tournament making his friend, Walter Mallory, Assistant Director. Bowling was his desire and he had a great compassion for helping new bowlers and youths that were interested in learning the sport of bowling.
