Herman Nelson Blue

Herman Nelson Blue, of Richmond, departed this life on January 10, 2016.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert Adkins and Cora Lee Blue Tucker; two sisters, Juanita Brown and Mamie Broidy; and one brother, Robert Lee Blue Sr. He is survived by two sons, Herman Lee Blue and Ron Nelson Blue; seven granchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild; devoted neices, Juanita Blue and Kimberly Brown; a devoted nephew, Wayne Blue; along with a host of other family and friends.

Remains rest at Mimms Funeral Home, 1827 Hull St., where funeral services are scheduled for 2 p.m. Tuesday, January 19, 2016.

At the family's request the interment will be private.
