Iven J. Warren, Jr. was the son of the late Iven and Lothine Morgan Warren of Whitakers, NC. Iven was baptized at a young age in the Old Mill stream in Whitakers, NC. His hobbies included drawing and sketching cartoons, cooking, woodworking, and building/renovating many things. He loved people his entire life, and just like his mother, he never met a stranger. Iven could have a conversation about any subject without missing a beat, whether world events or small talk. He was a natural joker who loved to make everyone he encountered laugh, and prepared meal items for a multitude of people, in addition to several churches and organizations. He was employed as a truck driver at Weiman's Bakery, Peninsula Cleaning Service, and Heilig-Meyers Furniture store. He also worked as a medical delivery driver at Westbury Pharmacy. He went on to retire from Wonder Bread Bakery. Iven made his transition from labor to reward at St. Mary's Hospital. He was preceded in death by his parents and four siblings; Mildred Warren, Clarence Pittman, William Daniels, and Shirley Howell.
