Jacqueline M. Horne

Jacqueline Marie Horne was born on December 11, 1981 to Frances and the late Willie Horne.

On June 15, 2017 God called his child home. Jacqueline was raised and educated in Richmond Public Schools and attended Huguenot High and The University of Richmond where she received a degree in Computer Science.

Jacqueline gave her life to Christ at a young age and joined Zion Baptist Church in South Richmond.

She will truly be missed by her friends and co-workers at Suntrust Mortgage where she was employed as a Mortgage processor.

Jacqueline was a beautiful and pleasant woman who was loved by all. She always came in with a gorgeous smile and infectious laugh. Her jovial personality made it a joy to be around.

Jacqueline Marie was preceded in death by her father Willie E. Horne. She leaves to cherish her memory her mother Frances Marie Horne; sister, Shanteanna Horne; sons, Jaelin Melton Tyrell Walters and Major Horne; devoted grandmother Lucille Horne; aunt Barbara Horne; uncle Arthur L. Horne, Jr.(Hattie); cousins, Tekia Williams, Ricardo, Dionne and Devin Horne; and a host of other relatives and friends among them devoted Sylvia Anderson and Melody Bennett.

Remains rest at Mimms Funeral Home, 1827 Hull St. Funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 24, 2017 at 1:30 PM at Zion Baptist Church, 2006 Decatur St. Rev. Dr. Robert Pettis, Officiating. Interment Maury Cemetery.
