Jason Lamont Campbell

Jason Lamont (Jay-Jay) Campbell (47) departed this phase of life on Sunday, November 14, 2021. He was preceded in death by his father Andrew Campbell Sr. and devoted partner Trina Slade.

Jay-Jay loved to smile and laugh which was evident in his nickname "Smiley". Jay-Jay had an infectious smile that was imprinted on everyone. He was rarely in a bad mood and always a bright light with great energy. He was a very hard worker in the Landscaping industry for over 20 years and was a man of many trades. Jay-Jay enjoyed brief conversations and herbal refreshments while living a fulfilled life.

He uniquely displayed his affinity for all his children. The love he had for his mother was always on display through the smiles and laughter coming from their direction. The brotherly bond he held made it feel like his brothers were the only siblings in the world. His love extended into the closeness with all his cousins.

Jay-Jay is survived by his mother Patricia Campbell, brothers Andrew Campbell Jr. (Ravarner), and William Campbell (Chanel); children, Lateesha Johnson (Miquan), Jason Campbell, Donte Walker, Kenisha Walker, and JaliciaCampbell. Grandchildren Miquan Johnson Jr, Miley Johnson, Maleah Johnson, Journee Campbell, Jai-Chanel Campbell, and Ava Walker. Nephews Andrew Campbell III, and Tavares Scott. He is loved by a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, family, and friends. He cherished all his friends and family and the bonds he created will never be broken.

A walk through viewing will be held Sunday, November 28, 2021 from 10:00am-4:00pm. A celebration of life will be held Monday, November 29, 2021 Mimms Chapel at 10:00AM. Interment Private.
