Joseph Woolridge, born on January 17, 1941, to the late Peter Woolridge Jr. and Selenia Baptist, was the youngest of thirteen siblings in a large and close-knit family.
Throughout his life, Joe was known for his dedication and work ethic. He spent over 30 years as a truck driver for CF, where he earned patches of excellence that were a testament to his commitment and professionalism.
Beyond his career, Joe had a passion for hunting and fishing. He had a variety of interests and abilities, such as singing, gardening, sports, tinkering, a distinct sense of humor and all things nature.
Joe is survived by his beloved children Terry Woolridge and daughter in-law Dawn Woolridge, LaKeisha Woolridge and son in-law Karim Jackson, his adored grandchildren Te’Tia Woolridge, Ashley Woolridge, LaKailah
Woolridge, and Anyiah Woolridge, his precious great-grandchildren Myla Woolridge and Adore Woolridge, and his sister Barbra Flippen. Along with a host of nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends. Joe's memory will continue to shine in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.
Joe will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him. While we mourn his loss, we also celebrate the incredible life he lived and the lasting impact he had on everyone around him.
