Kenyon Rashard Irby, age 24. entered eternal rest on June 10, 2025 at Home in Richmond, Va. he was born on August 1, 2000 at MCV to the late Kendra Irby in Richmond, VA.

Kenyon transitioned from this world by his own choice, seeking peace after a long and private battle with the weight of mental health struggles. Though our hearts are broken, we honor his decision with grace, knowing he longed for the freedom his spirit now holds.

Kenyon was quiet by nature, often keeping to himself, but his silence held depth—an ocean of thought, empathy, and introspection. He was a gentle soul, fiercely loyal to those he loved and always willing to offer support, even while carrying his own invisible burdens. His kindness was subtle, but powerful—he saw people, truly saw them, in a way that made them feel understood.

He found joy in the little things: making music that reflected his inner world, diving into books that opened his mind, and playing video games that offered a brief escape from life’s pressures. He was a thinker, a seeker—always exploring how to heal his own spirit and inspire healing in others.

Kenyon cherished the time he had with his family and friends. He never took love for granted. His presence, even in silence, was comforting. His absence now is felt in every breath.

He leaves behind a family who loved him deeply and will forever carry his memory: his siblings, relatives, and the many friends who knew the light behind his quiet eyes. Though he is no longer physically with us, his soul is free, and his story will live on as a reminder that even the gentlest among us carry battles we may never see.
