Lanney Fleming

FLEMING, Lanney Jr., of Chesterfield, departed this life March 5, 2010. He is survived by his wife, Thelma Fleming; daughter, Wanda Robinson; son, James Fleming; five grandchildren, four great-grandchildren; four sisters, Ora Grant, Leila Feggins, Lila Johnson (Henry) and Alberta Jackson; two brothers, Sam Fleming (Thelma) and Edward Fleming (Charlene); godchildren, John and Faye Hawkins; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends, among them devoted, Carrie and Henry Battle. Remains rest at Mimms Funeral Home, 1827 Hull Street, where the family will receive friends Friday (today) 6 to 7 p.m. Funeral service will be held Saturday, March 13, 1 p.m. at First Independent Methodist Church, 3050 Midlothian Turnpike, Rev. Harper Greenhowe, pastor, officiating. Interment Maury Cemetery.
