ALLEN, Louis Edward "Dad," of Chester, departed this life July 25, 2010. He was preceded in death by his wife, Susie Moses Allen. He is survived by his children, Susan Young (Darrell Allen), Calvin and Benjamin Allen; six grandchildren, great-grandchildren; son-in-law, James Young; sister-in-law, Myrtle Moses; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Remains rest at Mimms Funeral Home, 1827 Hull Street, where the family will receive friends on Thursday (today) from 6 to 7 p.m. Funeral services will be held Friday, July 30, at 11 a.m. at Zion Chester AME Zion Church, 12541 Branders Bridge Road. Rev. Thomas Tucker, pastor, officiating. Interment Sunset Memorial Park.
