Luvenia T. Reed Obituary (1935

Luvenia T. Reed departed this life July 31, 2023. At an early age, she was baptised at Second Baptist Church South Richmond. She attended Hickory Hill Elementary, Carver High School of Chesterfield Co., Virginia Union University and lastly, Smithdeal-Massey Business College. She worked at Richmond Memorial Hospital and St. Mary's and later opened a private assisted living facility, Turner Adult Services Inc. She dedicated her life to being a caregiver. She was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Lillie Turner; and her faithful friend, Harold Robinson. She is survived by her sisters, Thomasine Turner Taylor-Bassfield and Joy Noel (Michael); nephews, Floyd Young, Jr. and LeVon Young; four great nephews, four great nieces; her fur baby, Pup Pup and a host of other family and friends. Remains rest at Mimms Funeral Home, 1827 Hull St. Services will be private.
