Lynette B. Carter

Ms. Lynette B. Carter of Richmond, departed this life on February 17, 2016.

She was preceded in death by her daughter, Demetrial Carter; and her brother, Kelvin Banks. She is survived by her son, Marvin Carter Jr.; grandchildren, Dae'Mari and King Carter; parents, Delores and Leroy Yarborough; sister, Valerie Lawson (Jeffrey); and devoted sister, Erica Howard; brothers, Rudolph Banks (Sallie), Darryl Banks (Carolyn); devoted caretaker, Evelyn Christian; along with a host of other family and devoted friends.

Remains rest at Mimms Funeral Home, 1827 Hull St., Richmond, Va., 23224. Funeral services are scheduled for 1 p.m. Tuesday, February 23, 2016 at Swansboro Baptist Church, 3801 Midlothian Tpke. Aamon R. Miller, B.S., M.Div., Pastor. Rev. Ronald C. Taylor Sr., officiant. Interment Maury Cemetery.
