Marcus Lamont Craddock \n\nSunrise: February 19, 1982\nSunset: February 20, 2023\n\nObituary: \nMarcus Lamont Craddock was born on February 19, 1982 in Richmond, Virginia to Sylvia Craddock and Mark Shelton. Marcus was educated in the Richmond Public School system, graduating from John Marshall High School ('01). Marcus accepted Christ as his savior at an early age. He was an aspiring chef, starting a business "Walter's Catering LLC," in the memory of his late-grandfather. Marcus was also a dedicated caregiver and a die-hard Dallas Cowboy fan. No matter where you saw him he was always laughing and cracking jokes. Marcus will forever be an inspiration and beacon of light to everyone that knew of him. He was loved by so many people and will forever be missed. \n\nMarcus is survived by his loving parents, Sylvia Craddock and Mark Shelton; grandmother, Mary Shelton; siblings, Aliyah Craddock, Jordan Shelton, Justin & ShaCora Shelton; devoted aunt, Lucinda Craddock; aunts, Sylvia Shelton, Patrice Smyre (Ronald), Wyletta Allen (James); uncles, Charles Craddock Sr., James Craddock, Hartrel & Kevin Shelton; nephews, Loyal Craddock, Gerviyah & G'Zaiyah Shelton; devoted cousins, Charles Craddock Jr., Shannon Jones, Felicia, Matt, and Elayna; god-mothers, Debbie Woodson & Sharon Davis; god-children, Johnasia Starkes, Roderick Jr. & Renee; numerous great aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. \n\nAcknowledgements: \nThe family of Marcus Craddock wishes to express their sincere gratitude for all of your love, prayers and support during this time.
