Mary Lee Friend went home to be with the Lord, February 4, 2014. She was preceded in death by her parents, Haywood and Indiana Rudd; loving husband Roscoe W. Friend and grandson Roswell Eric Friend, Jr She leaves to cherish her memory a daughter, Jewel Giles(James), son Roswell Eric Friend, Sr.(Karen), grand-daughter To-Shera Friend-Kimble(Brandon), great-grandson Braylon Kimble; as well as many relatives and friends. The wake will will be held Sunday, February 9, 2014 from 5-6:00pm at Mimms Funeral Home 1827 Hull St. Funeral services will be held Monday, February 10, 2014, First Baptist Church, 2920 Kingsdale Rd at 1:00pm, Dr Wilson E.B.Shannon pastor officiating. Interment Sunset Memorial Park.
