Maybell A. Fountain Obituary (1925 - 2021)

Fountain, Maybell our invaluable mother, member of First Baptist Church(Southside), passed away on May 6, 2021. She is preceded in death by her husband, Joseph, Sr. daughter, Rose Marie, her parents and ten siblings. She is survived by three daughters, Cynthia Hagood(Willie), Sylvia Hughes(Eric) and Peggy Claiborne(Tyrone). A son, Marvin in which she called, "Sonny Boy." Eight adoring grandchildren, Patricia, Marcie(Sean), Terrell(Brittany), Chelsea(Donovan), Desmond, Skye, Jami and McKenzie, along with six great grandchildren, her loving brother, James Smith, a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives. Dedicated coworkers, a host of friends and her bestie, J. R. Davis. Our years of happiness and many good memories will enable us to continue her legacy. We thank all who loved her, but remember, she would say, "I love you more." A Funeral service will be held at Wave Church11801 Nuckols Rd at 1:30PM. Interment Maury Cemetery.
