Melvin, Harold Robinson, Jr (Junnie) was born June 16, 1959 in Richmond Virginia to the late Melvin Sr and Marion Robinson (Merriweather.) Melvin, Jr., passed away peacefully on April 21, 2023. He was proceeded in death by his mother, Marion Meriwether, and father, Melvin Robinson, Sr., grandmother, Louise, Graham, and grandfather, William Graham. Junnie graduated from Huguenot High School in 1977 and immediately gained employment with Philip Morris. He later became disabled, and was no longer able to work for Philip Morris. Junnie was an easy-going person. He loved his family, his Cadillacs, and the music group, The Isley Brothers. He love to turn a conversation into a song. Junnie had a heart big enough to carry the whole world. He was so kind that he would open his home to anyone who needed a place to stay. His favorite gospel song was "I Won’t Complain" and his favorite quote when you asked him how he was doing was, “Keeping my head above water, and staying out the way.” He would have good conversations with his sisters and would always tell them, "I love you boo". He would never say goodbye, he would always end with I'm out . So now that your journey has ended on this side, we won’t say goodbye, but that we will always love you and that your legacy will forever live in our hearts. Rest now soldier, we will always salute you. Junnie leaves to cherish is loving memories three sisters, Brenda, Graham, Barbara Hall, and Cynthia Jones. Two nieces, Zakiya Robinson and Bianca Graham; one nephew, Marquis, Harrison, a devoted cousin, Regina Smith(Ree-Ree), a devoted, friend Debra; four great nieces, four great nephews, three aunts, one, uncle and a host of cousins and friends.
