Michael Wallace Rice, Sr.

Michael Wallace Rice, Sr. 68, of Richmond, departed this life November 1, 2015.

He leaves behind his loving wife of 47 years, Dorothy Marie Rice; son, Michael Rice Jr.; daughter Lisa Rice-Hardy; four grandchildren, Tierra Marie Rice, Antoine Lamon Lynch Jr., Michael Wallace Rice III and Jalia Lucille Hardy; one brother, Walker Lewis Rice Jr.; sisters-in-law, Lucille Patricia Douglas Forbes (David), Pency Margaret Thomas (Jerome), Gwendolyn Douglas, Elma Curtis-Rice (Wilbert) and Carolyn Rice (Walker); aunt, Clara Walthall Potter; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Remains rest at Mimms Funeral Home, 1827 Hull St. where the family will receive friends Friday from 6-7pm.

Funeral service will be held 11 a.m. Saturday, November 7, 2015, at Star Fellowship Baptist Church, 2223 Keswick Ave.

Interment Greenwood Memorial Park
