Monique Juanita Wade was born to the late Marcel J. Guerin Jr. and Carmen Baez West on \nDecember 22, 1982. Monique united in Holy Matrimony to Tyrone Wade in Biloxi, MS in 2021. \nSurrounded by her family and friend, Monique entered into eternal rest on Sunday, May 22, \n2022 at 39 years old. Saint MJ Wade was born to Tyrone and Monique Wade on May 19, 2022. \nA few days later on May 27, 2022 in the arms of his father Tyrone; Saint MJ Wade went \npeacefully to meet his Mother.\nMonique Wade (known to her family as "Geekers", known by friends as "Moe") was born in \nStaten Island, NY. She graduated from Susan E. Wagner High School in 2000 and enlisted in \nthe United States Air Force (USAF) on October 4, 2000 as an Information Manager. During her \nextensive military career Monique was assigned to Lackland Air Force Base TX; Keesler Air \nForce Base, MS; Offut Air Force Base NE; Tyndall Air Force Base, FL; Royal Air Force Base, \nMildenhall, UK; Seymour Johnson Air Force Base, NC; and Joint Base McGuire Dix Lakehurst, \nNJ. \nDuring her time in the Air Force Monique excelled and was a firm foundation through many \nchallenges in the Air Force. She received the upmost respect and awarded for her unwavering \ncontributions. Her commitment to excellence earned recognition in numerous awards and \nmedals. Monique's leadership, loyalty, selflessness empowered many along side of her and \nthose who came after her. After 18 years of selfless service Monique retired from the Air Force \nand continued her professional progression as a Government Civilian. Later she eventually \ntransitioned to a Government Contractor role in 2021 supporting the US Air Force as an expert \nin Air Force Cyber Security Operations as a Cyber Warfare Instructor at Keesler AFB MS.\nMonique was grateful to be chosen as the mother of her sons. She truly loved being a mother \nand able to spend quality time with her children, spend time with family, and fellowship with her \ndevoted friends. Monique moved with pure intentions and generously gave 100% of herself. \nShe had the courage to be direct, loyal, and honest. Her energy will always be remembered. \nTo cherish their memory, Monique & Saint are survived by her husband and his father Tyrone \nand leaves a legacy by her sons: Carter Hall and Chase Harris, Dezmond Wade (step), Isis & \nMichael Bolden (step), Diden Wade (step), Tyler Wade (step), mother Carmen Baez West \n(Michael), brother Marcel Guerin III, Dillon West (step), sister Stefonie Young, her maternal \ngrandparents Bessie Baez, Marcel Guerin, Sr. & his wife Francis Guerin, her In-law's Naomi & \nCharlie Northington, brother in law Damian, a host of aunts, uncles and cousins. Monique is \npredeceased by her father Marcel J. Guerin, Jr., grandfather Enrique Baez, grandmother \nKatherine Simons, uncle Donny Baez, cousins Ricky Mitchell, Joshua Dawson, and Misa Baez. \nMonique will be missed by a host of other devoted family, friends and coworkers.\n\n\n\nFuneral service will be held on Friday June 17, 2022 at 9:30 AM at Mimms Funeral Home,\n\n1827 Hull St., Richmond, VA 23224.
