Mrs. Oleta Jones

JONES, Mrs. Oleta Littleheart, 100, of Richmond, Va., departed this life on Friday, June 8, 2018. She was born in Roxbury, Va., to the late Lenmood and Ella May Jones. She was preceded in death by her husband, Reverend Howard Jones Sr.; two sons, Howard Jones Jr. and Charles E. Jones Sr.; and daughter, Thelma Brooks. She leaves to cherish her memory one son, Edward "Billy" Jones (Rita); three daughters, Helen J. Williamson, Margaret Jones (Clyde) and Garlene Wilson (Nathaniel); two daughters-in-law, Louise and Frances Jones; brother, Otis Jones; sister, Otelia Crawley; 17 grandchildren, 21 greatgrandchildren, 16 great great-grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives. Her remains rest at Mimms Funeral Home, 1827 Hull St., Richmond, Va., where the family will receive friends on Wednesday, June 13, from 6 to 7 p.m. and where funeral services will be held on Thursday, June 14, 2018, at 12 noon. Dr. Robert L. Pettis Sr. officiating. Interment Cedar Grove Baptist Church Cemetery, Charles City, Va.
