Patricia A. Preston

Patricia Ann Preston was born January 17, 1947, to the late Josephine Greene and Bob Robinson in Brooklyn, New York at Kings County Hospital. Patricia graduated from Trenton Central High School class of 1965 and then obtained a license in Cosmetology shortly after she graduated. She and her son Leon moved to Richmond, VA. She became a hair stylist and retired in retail. In her spare time, she loved reading her bible and praising the Lord. She was committed and lived by values, which were apparent and relevant by the love she had for her friends and family. Prior to the progression of her illness she enjoyed family gathers during the holidays. Pat enjoyed arts and crafts, decorating in her spare time and shopping. She loved visits from her grandchildren and talking to her sister Adelyn. But most of all she loved to give her time and advice to others, in which she gave her very best advice.

She was married to and preceded by her husband Frank Preston. She leaves to her memory: son and daughter in law: Leon and Paula Ford, her sister Adeline Burroughs, six grandchildren: Tiye, Tajhi "T-Inferno", Tyrell, Kalah, Tyeon, and Jessie, one niece: Andrea Seay, two nephews: Keith "Rishawn" Coggin Sr. , Darione Seay and two great nephews.

Funeral service will be held on Monday, September 14, 2020 at 1 PM at Mimms Funeral Home, 1827 Hull St. Interment Maury Cemetery.
